DU Mars Challenge Game

MARS CHALLENGE

If you take a regular (normal) verb like jump, you can normally make it into past tense by adding -ed (I jumped). You also just add -ed to form the past participle (I have jumped).

Easy, right?

Yes, BUT... there are also hundreds of irregular verbs that don't follow the normal rules. For example, run is an irregular verb, so you CAN'T say "I runned" or "I have runned." Instead, the past tense is ran (I ran) and the past participle is run (I have run).

It's really, really tough to learn all the irregular verbs, so we people at DU made a fun computer game to help you learn them!

In this fun game set on Mars, you have to quickly collect gold bubbles. You'll need to go fast in your spaceship and answer questions quickly and correctly before your fuel runs out. Can you score enough points to the second stage? You'll then be dodging meteorites and trying to make it to the restaurant in time to meet your alien friends.

... Oh yes, and you also learn all the common irregular verbs!
